Ft. Lauderdale Bottom Fishing

Bottom fishing can be extremely productive off of Fort Lauderdale. It took awhile to convince us that Fort Lauderdale offers a great bottom fishing fishery. We target numerous deep water wrecks to catch Amberjack, large Groupers, Mutton, Snappers, and every species of sharks.

Some of these species of fish will give you a run for your money with the fight they will put up. We generally use live bait to catch these deep water fish. We also fish in shallow water for Yellow Tail Snappers, which can be a fun rod-bending experience.
