Sailfishing in fort lauderdale
Well yesterday we were encouraged by the recent cold front that hit the area . Finally the sailfish bite was on we were fishing in about 90- 150 feet of water fishing with our favorite sailfish bait goggle eyes and let me tell you the fish were all over us . Well fall has arrived in fort lauderdale And so have the sailfish. Sail fishing is starting to get into full swing, as well as big mahi mahi, being caught in 600to1000 feet of water.the tuna bite should start to progress as November rolls in ,and the shark fishing will be heating up as well. Well today we had some folks from Kansas on the boat today and by all means fishing was tough we only caught kingfish,small blacken tubas and a 25 lb amberjack on a half day charter the reason for slow fishing no wind ,no current,and flat calm seas better days are on the horizon.Capt. Well the wahoo bite is at it's best right now in fort lauderdale we had a 3/4 day charter on Friday and the wahoo were biting anything we put in our spread we have been finding these fish in about 250 to 300 feet of water there'is also a good king fish bite on the reef in about 120 to 200 feet (read more...)
